Minutes of Meeting November 28, 2012
Wellfleet Town Hall Hearing Room
        

Present: Peter Hall, Chair; Jan Plaue, Janet Reinhart, Trudy Vermehren, John Ketchum, Gary Sorkin, Elaine McIlroy, Lydia Vivante
Regrets: Deirdre Poole

Minutes of 9/26/12
Reinhart moved to approve the minutes of September 26, 2012. Plaue seconded, and the motion carried 5-0.

Finances
Committee members reviewed the estimated funds for Fiscal Year 2014.

Application #13-02 Estate Planning for Affordable Housing
The Local Housing Partnership had submitted an application for $15,000 for Estate Planning for Affordable Housing.  Steve Durkee, who sponsored the project on behalf of the Local Housing Partnership, was present to answer questions regarding the proposal.  The thrust of the project is informational and promotional, he said.  
Jan Plaue moved to approve Application #13-02 for $15,000.  Jake Ketchum seconded and the motion carried 8-0.

Application #13-01 Restoration & Rehabilitation of 335 Main St. Town Park
Wellfleet Preservation Hall had submitted a letter of intent and an application for the Restoration and Rehabilitation of 335 Main Street’s Town Park.  The requested amount for the project is $20,000.  
Reinhart moved to approve Application #13-01 for $20,000.  Elaine McIlroy seconded and discussion followed regarding ownership of the Town property, Preservation Hall uses, finances and promotions allowed, and the proximity to Wesley Swamp.  

Reinhart rescinded her motion and made a motion to consider the application at the January CPC meeting.  McIlroy rescinded her second and made

Planning for Annual Needs Hearing
The Recreation Committee had submitted their Needs list.  This will be the focus of the Needs Hearing to be held during a Selectmen’s meeting in December.

Project Updates
There were brief updates on a number of projects that are underway: Pond Hill School, the Historic Museum, the Hatch Cottage, Hamblen Park, and Gull Pond Affordable Housing.  

Agenda for Next Meeting
Agenda for the January 23, 2013 meeting will include:  Application #13-01 for 335 Main St., Articles for Town Meeting, Project Updates, Minutes and Mail.  

Adjournment
The meeting was adjourned by consensus at 10:40 a.m.
