Minutes of Meeting October 26, 2011
Wellfleet Town Hall Hearing Room
Present: Peter Hall, Chair; John Ketchum, Janet Reinhart, Marcia Seeler, Elaine McIlroy, Jan Plaue, Gary Sorkin,

Chairman Peter Hall called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m.
Agenda Additions
Signage for Gull Pond Affordable Homes was added to the meeting agenda.
Minutes of 9/28/11
Janet Reinhart moved to approve the minutes of September 28, 2011. Elaine McIlroy seconded, and the motion carried 4-0-2.
Election of CPC Officers
Marcia Seeler nominated Peter Hall as chair Jan Plaue seconded, and the motion carried 6-0-1. Hall was elected chair
Reinhart nominated Gary Sorkin as vice-chair. Ketchum seconded and the motion carried 6-0-1. Sorkin was elected vice-chair.
Sign at Gull Pond Affordable Homes
Elaine McIlroy said the workers on site at the Gull Pond Affordable Homes location would be able to put up a CPC temporary sign. If that doesn’t work, the CDP would be able to make arrangements. The sign will enable the project to be located more easily and give recognition to CPA funding.
Planning for 5-Year Celebration/Needs Hearing (Nov. 10)
The Committee discussed plans for the needs hearing and event to be held November 10, 2011 at Preservation Hall. Invitations and press releases will go out by next week. The hearing ad will appear in this week and next week’s newspaper.
Anticipated Applications
A number of possible applications are expected by the November 15, 2011 deadline. Marcia Seeler discussed Historic projects that are under consideration. Open Space is hoping to have an application, Jan Plaue said. No Housing or Recreation projects are expected.
Other Business
Gary Sorkin announced a meeting of Nauset Neighbors later in the day. This volunteer group aims to help elders remain in their own homes.
Marcia Seeler said the State of the Wellfleet Harbor Conference will be held November 5, 2011.
Agenda for Next Meeting
The next meeting will be held November 30. 2011. New applications will be examined at that time. A review of the Needs hearing will take place also.
Adjournment
Sorkin moved to adjourn. Seeler seconded, and the motion carried 7-0. The meeting was adjourned at 10:25 a.m.
