Minutes of Meeting May 25, 2011
Wellfleet Town Hall Hearing Room
Present: Peter Hall, Chair; Terry Gips, Jan Plaue, Janet Reinhart, Marcia Seeler, Judy Taylor
Regrets: John Ketchum, Elaine McIlroy, Deirdre Poole
Chairman Peter Hall called the meeting to order at 9:34 a.m.
Agenda Additions
A report on the Historic Review Boards efforts to contact Modern House owners was added.
Minutes of 4/27/11
Seeler moved to approve the minutes of April 27, 2011. Gips seconded. The motion carried 5-0.
Reports on Projects
The Committee examined the report on all CPA projects to date.1 Elaine McIlroy had sent an update on the Affordable Housing projects. 2 Pond Hill School had provided a report on their fundraising efforts3 and asked to be included in the agenda for the next meeting to report in person. Marcia Seeler gave an update on the Cannon Hill Historic Restoration planning phase.
Historic Review Board
Mary Rogers reported on the Historic Review Board’s letter to Modern House owners notifying them of a hearing for including Modern Houses in the Demolition Delay general bylaws.
Anticipated Applications
The Town Clock, Historic Town Hall Archives, and the Community Housing rental subsidization program are anticipated applications for the July 14 deadline.
Terms of Office Reminder
Everyone will check with their respective boards to be sure that their term of office is not running out.
Administrative Salary
CPC Coordinator Mary Rogers requested a salary raise. Plaue moved to increase her salary to $25 per hour as of July 1, 2011. Reinhart seconded, and the motion carried 6-0.
Seeler moved to review the administrative salary every year. Gips seconded, and the motion carried 6-0.
Agenda for Next Meeting
Pond Hill School representatives will give their progress report at the next meeting on June 22, 2011.
Adjournment
Plaue moved to adjourn. Gips seconded, and the motion carried 6-0. The meeting was adjourned at 10:30 a.m.
