Minutes of Meeting of December 19, 2007
Town Hall Hearing Room
Present: R. Dennis O’Connell, Chair, Steve Oliver, Barbara Gray, Ronald Harper, Rex Peterson, Assistant Town Administrator
Absent: Gerry Parent, Alfred Pickard, David Rowell
Local Comprehensive Plan draft. Paul Pilcher, Chair of the Local Comprehensive Planning Committee (LCPC), reviewed the draft plan with the members of the Board. Ms. Gray serves as the Planning Board representative to the LCPC. The group reviewed the plan page by page, with the Planning Board members offering several suggestions for revisions. Mr. Pilcher said that a final draft should be ready by mid-January and would be distributed to all interested parties for further review.
Annual Goals. It was the consensus of the group to wait until the full board was present to discuss goals for the coming year.
Annual Town Report. The Board reviewed a draft report prepared by Mr. Peterson and Committee Secretary Mary Rogers. Mr. O’Connell made a motion to accept the report and to forward it for publication. Mr. Harper seconded the motion. The Board’s vote in favor of the motion was unanimous.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:45 p.m.
