Minutes of Site Visit Meeting of Saturday, June 22, 2002
Capt. L. D. Baker Estates, Dow Drive

Absent: Mark Berry, Gerald Parent, Lisa Brown
Members of the Planning Board met to inspect the site, Dow Drive, as publicly posted, on
June 22, 2002, at 9:40 a.m.
Discussion focused on the safety of sight lines when exiting the subdivision. It was agreed that the possible impediments to clear sight lines were on the right side only.
Four scrawny pine trees were tagged for removal. In addition, low scrub oak (in the immediate vicinity of the tagged pines) is to be removed. No ground cover is to be disturbed.
The Chair moved, Alfred Pickard seconded, that removal of vegetation as described above be requested. 3 in favor, Helen Miranda Wilson opposed. She wished some of the trees to remain.
Peripheral discussion followed on Wellfleet's clear cutting regulations. The shoddy state of the subdivision's stop sign and the fact that the road sign was green and not blue was noted.
The Chair moved to adjourn; Wright seconded. Unanimously approved. Meeting adjourned at 10:05 a.m.
