Minutes of Meeting of April 25, 2005

Present: Berta Bruinooge, Chair; Nancy Bone, Carl Caruso, Pat Foley, Mac Hay, Arlene Kirsch, John Makely, Sylvia Smith
Absent: William Carlson
Chair Berta Bruinooge called the meeting to order at 6:45 p.m.
The Committee met just before Town Meeting in order to make a recommendation for Article I of the Special Town Meeting Warrant. There were some changes in the figures, but not the total, for this Article to be considered; however, the matter in question concerned Item 1 Computerization.
The decision to recommend Article I, endorsing items 2-6 but with reservations on Item 1, was reached unanimously. The caveat that the Town stay within its Computerization budget for FY06 was attached to Item 1.
The Committee voted to recommend Article I of STM, 8-0.
The meeting adjourned at 6:55.
