The Wellfleet Board of Selectmen will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at 7 p.m. at the Wellfleet Senior Center, 715 Old Kings Highway, Wellfleet, MA 02667.  Please find the agenda attached and pasted below.

A.      Fees
a)      Request by the Conservation Commission to adopt fees and non-criminal violations into ‘Wellfleet Environmental Protection Regulations' for the Small Boat Identification Program.
B.      Shellfish
a)      Application received February 19, 2013 from Russell Apgar to renew shellfish grant licenses # 95-27 & 95-28 for a ten year period.
b)      Application received February 19, 2013 from Sandra Mitchell and Brent Valli to renew shellfish grant licenses # 95-21 & 95-22 for a ten year period.
c)      Application received February 25, 2013 from Clifford Dalby to renew shellfish grant licenses # 95-31 and 95-32 for a ten year period.
d)      Application received February 25, 2013 from Robert and Barbara Olson to renew shellfish grant licenses # 95-3 and 95-4 for a ten year period.
e)      Application received February 25, 2013 from Kelly Ruml to remove Wentzle Ruml from shellfish grant licenses # 95-13, 95-14 and 00-04 for no longer being a domiciled resident and to renew them for a ten year period.

a)      Renewal of Seasonal Liquor Licenses:  Catch of the Day, Chequessett Yacht & Country Club, Flying Fish Café, Harbor Stage Company, The Juice, Mac’s Shack, Marconi Beach Restaurant, Maurice’s Campground, Pearl Restaurant, Rookie’s, Sweet Seasons, V.R.’s, Wellfleet Beachcomber, Wellfleet Dairy Bar and Grill, Wellfleet Flea Market, Wellfleet Motel and Lodge, Wellfleet Marketplace, Wellfleet Wine and Spirits, Winslow’s Tavern.
B.      Appointments
a)      Curt Felix – Cape Cod Water Protection Collaborative, Wellfleet Representative [serving the remainder of Hillary Greenberg-Lemos’ term, ending 6/30/14]
b)      Jennifer I. Pierce – Citizens Economic Development Committee [one year term, ends 6/30/14]
c)      Suzanne Lawlor or Andrea Pluhar – Wellfleet Democratic Committee [one position for a one year term, ends 3/31/14]

D.      Use of Town Property
a)      Application received from Rebecca Brooks and Peter Benjamin to use Duck Harbor Beach and parking lot on Saturday, July 27, 2013 from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. for a wedding ceremony with 40-50 people in attendance.  Guests may bring chairs.  No food or beverages at the service.  Processing fee:  $20.  Use of Town Property fee:  $100.
b)      Application received from Jody Craven and Christa von der Luft of Cape Cod Bay Challenge, Inc. to use White Crest Beach on Saturday, June 8, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to host an annual stand-up paddle boarding and surfing event.  Approximately 40-50 participants expected to participate in two events:  (1) A one hour 800-yard paddleboard race and 400-yard beach run, (2) a one-hour surf contest and a (3) one-hour stand-up paddleboard contest.  $25 registration fee per event, $40 for both ($15 per event or $30 for both events for additional family members); all proceeds to benefit Christopher Haven.  Processing Fee:  $20.  Use of Town Property fee:  Exempt
c)      Application received from Jody Craven and Christa von der Luft of Cape Cod Bay Challenge, Inc. to use Mayo Beach and Baker’s Field on Saturday, August 17, 2013; (1) Mayo Beach:  2:00-4:00 p.m. for a 35-mile stand-up paddleboard crossing of Cape Cod Bay to end at Mayo Beach, and (2) Baker’s Field Tent Area:  12:00-9:00 p.m. for a post-event celebration and fundraiser at Baker’s Field.  Intent to provide live music, catered food, beer and wine (pending approval of a one-day license approval), raffle items.  Parking needed at the Mayo Beach, Baker’s Field and Town Pier parking lots.  Paddlers will pay $100 registration fee and raise an additional $650 each to benefit Christopher Haven.  A fee would be charged at the celebration event (approximately $30) to cover food and beverage costs for approximately 300-400 people. Processing Fee:  $20.  Use of Town Property fee:  Exempt

A.      Water Commissioners Phase II Expansion update and engineering contract discussion and/or approval [Justina Carlson and Jim Hood]
B.      Approval of a conservation restriction for the Sparrow Property to be held by the Conservation Commission, to be assigned by the Wellfleet Conservation Trust upon acquisition [Denny O’Connell]
C.      Assent to assignment of a conservation restriction for the Walker Property from the Wellfleet Conservation Trust to the Conservation Commission [Denny O’Connell]
D.      Action on the proposed easement or purchase of the Chequessett Yacht & Country Club Lot - Map 19, Parcel 101
E.      Request by OpenCape to waive building permit fee for microwave antennas on water tower [Permit fee is $290 per BI.]
F.      Action on Municipal Solid Waste Contract
