The meeting was called to order at 7:04 with a quorum

2. Minutes from October
|
Linda Clark made a motion to approve the minutes from October and it was seconded by Mary Jo MacGowan
|
3. Solar Panels for Town
|
Marty Binder discussed the plan to build an array of solar panels on town property behind the soccer fields. He reviewed the energy costs for the town office, the Memorial, the salt shed and the safety building and explained the savings we would realize with solar panels.

4. Correspondence
|
§ SPNHF reminder of easement monitoring – Betsy said she would follow up since the forms have been submitted
§ DES letter of 11/9/16 regarding Pond Hill – Chris will contact Erin Darrow and George Embley regarding DES concerns. There is concern about the closed bottom culvert and the impact on species of concern like Common Loons and Black Racers

5. Clothespin Bridge
|
We discussed the Clothespin Bridge project. The WCC will keep in touch with the project and any potential impact on the river
|
6. Warner River
|
We sent a letter of support from the WCC
|
7. Events
|
The Tree Identification Workshop is scheduled for Saturday, 21 January 2017 from 9 AM to 12 Noon starting in the town hall. Chris and others will scope out some good locations with a variety of trees before the event.

8. New Business
|
There is some concern about sinkholes at Riverdale and whether we should put up signs. Susan offered to contact the NH Municipal Association for advice.
