Eversource and its contractor ask that residents refrain from using the trail for the next few days while they complete removing any sharp metal bits left over from the railroad tracks. Thank you for your cooperation.

Eversource will be constructing an access road along the right-of-way from Route 27 in Wayland to Stony Brook in Weston. Activity associated with the access road construction includes mowing, grading, compacting, and laying gravel. All work associated with this project will be located entirely within the existing rights of way.
Construction will begin on Monday, October 16. Normal hours of construction will be Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. Due to weather or other unexpected circumstances, crews may need to work longer hours or work on Saturdays.
Eventually, DCR will own and maintain the access road as a recreational path and Eversource will retain the right to use the road for construction and maintenance of its facilities.
