On April 13, 2016, the Building Department issued building permits to construct solar canopy structures and roof hardware for the installation of solar panels at the following 3 locations:
- 201 Main Street, Middle School, building permit # 2016200, included site plan review process for an educational use parcel. (Building Plan online here)
- 264 Old Connecticut Path, High School, building permit #2016201, included site plan review process for an educational use parcel. (Building Plan online here)
- 66 River Road, DPW Building, building permit #2016193, roof mounted solar panels.
These projects were approved at Annual Town Meeting in 2015.
