Fire Chief Announces New Ambulance and Emergency Medical Equipment
For over 35 years, the Wayland Fire Department has been providing emergency medical services and ambulance transportation to the hospital.  Keeping reliable and dependable vehicles in service is in the Town’s best interest.

The new 2014 International/Braun ambulance (pictured below) is a capital expense and funded from the ambulance revenue account.  Our 2010 ambulance has been relegated to a second line (spare) status and our 2005 ambulance was traded in as part of the new purchase.  In addition to the ambulance, the ambulance package included a power-lift stretcher, a portable CPR chest compression device, and some other small pieces of equipment.
