MEETING MINUTES
PLANNING BOARD PUBLIC HEARINGS & REGULAR MEETING TREMONT TOWN OFFICE
HARVEY KELLEY MEETING ROOM TUESDAY, APRIL 26, 2016
1. CALL TO ORDER:
Acting Chairman Spencer Ervin called the April 26, 2016 meeting to order at 6:10 pm.
2. ROLL CALL:
Previously excused was Chairman Mike Ryan.
Present were Acting Chairman/Planning Board Member Spencer Ervin, Planning Board Members Linda Graham, Valerie Haynes, Wayne Patton, and Susan Snyder, CEO Debbi Nickerson, and Recording Secretary Jan Sprague.
3. ADJUSTMENTS/ADOPTION OF AGENDA:
Acting Chairman Spencer Ervin relayed that Chairman Mike Ryan suggested further work on zoning ordinances.
Motion by Planning Board Member Linda Graham to table it until the next meeting, 2nd by Acting Chairman Spencer Ervin. Motion passed 5-0.
4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: None.
5. SUBDIVISIONS: None
6. NEW BUSINESS:
A. Review for completeness a Building Permit Application submitted by Mike Wagner to add a 20’ x 30’ addition on the left of existing building and 10’ x 40’ on the front of the same building as well as 150 yards of fill.
Motion by Planning Board Member Wayne Patton, 2nd by Planning Board Member Linda Graham, that the Permit Application is deemed to be complete, pending receipt of deed. Motion passed 5-0.
B. Public Hearing to receive public input concerning item (A). Public Hearing opened at 6:19 pm.
Mike Wagner described his plan for two additions and fill. Public Hearing closed at 6:21 pm.
C. Action on Public Hearing (B).
Motion by Planning Board Member Wayne Patton, 2nd by Planning Board Member Valerie Haynes that the proposed development will conform to all TZO Definitions. Motion passed 5-0.
Motion by Planning Board Member Wayne Patton, 2nd by Planning Board Member Linda Graham that the proposed development will conform to all listed requirements. Motion
passed 5-0.
Motion by Planning Board member Valerie Haynes to approve the application,
04262016ABC as submitted, 2nd by Planning Board Member Wayne Patton. Motion passed 5-0.
D. Review for completeness a Building Permit Application submitted by Mike Hodgdon to open the existing lobster shack to sell cooked and live lobsters and crabs.
Motion by Planning Board Member Linda Graham, 2nd by Planning Board Member Wayne Patton that the Permit Application is deemed to be complete, pending that the deed is placed in record. Motion passed 5-0.
E. Public Hearing to receive public input concerning item (D). Public Hearing opened at 6:33 pm.
Mike Hodgdon described his plan to open the existing lobster shack to sell cooked and live lobsters and crabs.
Public Hearing closed at 6:36 pm.
F. Action on Public Haring (E).
Motion by Planning Board Member Wayne Patton, 2nd by Planning Board Member Linda Graham that the proposed development will conform to all TZO Definitions. Motion passed 5-0.
