SMALL CITIES COMMITTEE
May 16, 2016
A REGULAR MEETING was held by the Small Cities Committee of the City Council & WPC Authority on Monday, May 16, 2016.
City Councilors Drake Waldron, Luisa Noujaim and Dan Farley were present. Mayoral Aide Timothy Waldron was also present.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Waldron at 6:16 p.m.
Project #143-406
On a motion by Councilor Farley, seconded by Councilor Noujaim, the Committee voted unanimously to approve Project #143-406 for $14,629.00 and to make a favorable recommendation to City Council.
Project #143-414
On a motion by Councilor Farley, seconded by Councilor Noujaim, the Committee voted unanimously to approve Project #143-414 for $42,100.00 and to make a favorable recommendation to City Council.
Project #143-421
On a motion by Councilor Farley, seconded by Councilor Noujaim, the Committee voted unanimously to approve Project #143-421 for $7,350.00 and to make a favorable recommendation to City Council.
Community Development Stipend Program Awards
On a motion by Councilor Farley, seconded by Councilor Noujaim, the Committee voted unanimously to accept the approved Community Development Stipend Program awards and recommend them to City Council. Chairman Waldron noted that $10,000 would be awarded to six applicants selected to benefit the most people. He said that not all requests were granted at 100% and that there were requests for a total of $34,849 from 13 applications.

On a motion by Councilor Waldron, seconded by Councilor Farley, the Committee voted unanimously to adjourn at 6:26 p.m.
