BOARD OF PUBLIC SAFETY
July 24, 2014
A REGULAR AND TELEPHONIC MEETING of the Fire Department Subcommittee of the Board of Public Safety was held in the Mayor’s Office on Thursday, July 24, 2014.
Mayor Elinor Carbone, Corporation Counsel Raymond Rigat, and Subcommittee member Douglas Benedetto were present. Subcommittee member Robert Conforti participated via telephone. Also in attendance were
Fire Chief Gary Brunoli, Deputy Fire Chief Christopher Pepler and Board of Public Safety Commissioner Glenn McLeod. Subcommittee member Darlene Battle was absent.
Mayor Carbone called the meeting to order at 6:06 p.m.
VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPTS. MOU
The Subcommittee discussed a Memorandum of Understanding for the City and the Volunteer Fire Departments. On a motion by Commissioner Conforti, seconded by Commissioner Benedetto, the Subcommittee voted unanimously to recommend that the full Board of Public Safety accept this Memorandum.
ADJOURNMENT
On a motion by Commissioner Conforti, seconded by Commissioner Benedetto, the Subcommittee voted unanimously to adjourn at 7:10 p.m.
