MINUTES
REGULAR MEETING OF THE
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT FUND
December 3, 2012
A REGULAR MEETING of the Board of Trustees of the City Employees Retirement Fund was held on Tuesday, December 3, 2012, in the City Hall Auditorium.
Those in attendance included Mayor Ryan Bingham, Members of the Board of Trustees of the City Employees' Retirement Fund Gregg Cogswell, Paul Samele, Elinor Carbone, Gerald Zordan, Marie Soliani, Drake Waldron, Nancy Michna, Delisse Locher, John Schnyer, and City Clerk Joseph Quartiero. Members Raymond Drew, Mark Kugler, Aldo Alduini, Gail Sartori and City Treasurer Arthur Mattiello were absent.
Mayor Bingham called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
MINUTES
On a motion by Councilor Waldron, seconded by Councilor Zordan, the Board voted unanimously to accept the minutes of the special meeting held jointly with the Board of Trustees of the Police and Firemen's Pension Fund on June 11, 2012.
On a motion by Councilor Cogswell, seconded by Councilor Waldron, the Board voted unanimously to accept the minutes of regular meeting held September 4, 2012.
On a motion by Councilor Waldron, seconded by Councilor Cogswell, the Board voted unanimously to accept the minutes of the regular meeting held jointly with the Board of Trustees of the Police & Firemen's Pension Fund on November 13, 2012. Councilors Soliani and Carbone abstained.
RETIREMENT CONTRIBUTION REFUND
On a motion by Councilor Waldron, seconded by Councilor Zordan, the Board voted unanimously to approve the retirement contribution refund of $29,117.40, including interest, to Glen McCullough, Highway Maintainer II for the Torrington Street Department, for the period October 25, 2004 through November 30, 2012.
PENSION COMPUTATION: J. Hill
On a motion by Councilor Cogswell, seconded by Councilor Carbone, the Board voted unanimously to accept the pension computation for Joseph Hill, Foreman for the Torrington Street Dept., effective November 1, 2012, after completing 26 years of service, with 1.75 years of military buy-back time for a total of 27 years.
BUSINESS
On a motion by Councilor Carbone, seconded by Councilor Waldron, the Board voted unanimously to consider business from the Board of Trustees. No business was presented.
ADJOURNMENT
On a motion by Councilor Carbone, seconded by Councilor Samele, the Board voted unanimously to adjourn at 6:36 p.m.
