MINUTES
REGULAR MEETING OF THE
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT FUND
September 4, 2012
A REGULAR MEETING of the Board of Trustees of the City Employees Retirement Fund was held on Tuesday, September 4, 2012, in the City Hall Auditorium.
Those in attendance included Mayor Ryan Bingham, Corporation Counsel Ernestine Weaver, Members of the Board of Trustees of the City Employees' Retirement Fund Gregg Cogswell, Paul Samele, Elinor Carbone, Gerald Zordan, Marie Soliani, Drake Waldron, Nancy Michna, John Schnyer, and City Clerk Joseph Quartiero. Members Raymond Drew, Delisse Locher, Mark Kugler, Aldo Alduini, Gail Sartori and City Treasurer Arthur Mattiello were absent.
Mayor Bingham called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
MINUTES
On a motion by Councilor Waldron, seconded by Councilor Cogswell, the Board voted unanimously to accept the minutes of the regular meeting held July 2, 2012.
On a motion by Councilor Soliani, seconded by Councilor Waldron, the Board voted unanimously to accept the minutes of the regular meeting held jointly with the Board of Trustees of the Police and Firemen's Pension Fund on August 1, 2012. Councilor Zordan abstained.
PENSION COMPUTATION: E. Deeds
On a motion by Councilor Waldron, seconded by Councilor Zordan, the Board voted unanimously to accept the pension computation for Ethan Deeds, Master Mechanic, for the City of Torrington Equipment Maintenance Dept., effective August 8, 2012, after completing 25 years of service, with 3 years of military buy-back time for a total of 28 years.
BUSINESS
On a motion by Councilor Cogswell, seconded by Councilor Samele, the Board voted unanimously to consider business from the Board of Trustees. No business was presented.
ADJOURNMENT
On a motion by Councilor Waldron, seconded by Councilor Carbone, the Board voted unanimously to adjourn at 6:31 p.m.
