REGULAR MEETING OF THE
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT FUND
DECEMBER 19, 2011
A REGULAR MEETING of the Board of Trustees of the City Employees Retirement Fund was held on Monday, December 19, 2011, in the City Hall Auditorium.
Those in attendance included Mayor Ryan J. Bingham, Corporation Counsel Ernestine Yuille Weaver, members of the Board of Trustees of the City Employees Retirement Fund Gregg Cogswell, Paul Samele, Elinor Carbone, Marie Soliani, Drake Waldron, City Treasurer Arthur Mattiello, Gail Sartori, and Delisse Locher. City Clerk Joseph Quartiero was also present.
Members Gerald Zordan, Ray Drew, David Prahm, Mark Kugler, Raymond Drew, Nancy Michna, David Kissko, and Angelo Alduini were absent.
Mayor Bingham called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
MINUTES
On a motion by Councilor Waldron, seconded by Councilor Carbone, the Board voted unanimously to accept the minutes of the regular meeting held jointly with the Board of Trustees of the Police and Firemen's Pension Fund on August 15, 2011.
On a motion by Councilor Cogswell, seconded by Councilor Waldron, the Board voted unanimously to accept the minutes of the regular meeting held on August 15, 2011.
On a motion by Councilor Waldron, seconded by Councilor Carbone, the Board voted unanimously to accept the minutes of the regular meeting held jointly with the Board of Trustees of the Police and Firemen's Pension Fund on November 14, 2011.
PENSION COMPUTATION: Harry B. Reading III
On a motion by Councilor Waldron, seconded by Councilor Soliani, the Board voted unanimously to accept the pension computation for Harry B. Reading III, Trailer Driver for the City of Torrington Street Department, effective December 1, 2011, after completing 23 years of service, with 3 additional of military buy-back time for a total of 26 years.
BUSINESS
On a motion by Councilor Waldron, seconded by Councilor Cogswell, the Board voted unanimously to consider business from the Board of Trustees. No business was presented.
ADJOURNMENT
On a motion by Councilor Waldron, seconded by Councilor Carbone, the Board voted unanimously to adjourn at 6:32 p.m.
