REGULAR MEETING OF THE
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT FUND
AUGUST 15, 2011
A REGULAR MEETING of the Board of Trustees of the City Employees Retirement Fund was held on Monday, August 15, 2011, in the City Hall Auditorium.
Those in attendance included Mayor Ryan J. Bingham, , members of the Board of Trustees of the City Employees Retirement Fund, Gregg Cogswell, Paul Samele, Elinor Carbone, Gerald Zordan, Marie Soliani, Drake Waldron, Ray Drew, and City Treasurer Arthur Mattiello.
Mayor Bingham called the meeting to order at 6:21 p.m.
MINUTES
On a motion by Councilor Carbone, seconded by Councilor Waldron, the Board voted unanimously to accept the minutes of the regular meeting held on July 5, 2011. Councilor Cogswell abstained.
PENSION COMPUTATION: Earle Tyler
On a motion by Councilor Cogswell, seconded by Councilor Carbone, the Board voted unanimously to accept the pension computation for Earle Tyler, Caretaker II for the City of Torrington Parks Department, effective July 14, 2011, after completing 28 years of service.
WITHDRAW RETIREMENT FUNDS: Michael Rosa
On a motion by Councilor Soliani, seconded by Councilor Samele, the Board voted unanimously to authorize the withdrawal of retirement funds for Michael Rosa, Custodian for the City of Torrington Board of Education, after having resigned on May 25, 2011.
BUSINESS
On a motion by Councilor Cogswell, seconded by Councilor Carbone, the Board voted unanimously to consider business from the Board of Trustees. No business was presented.
ADJOURNMENT
On a motion by Councilor Zordan, seconded by Councilor Carbone, the Board voted unanimously to adjourn at 6:23 p.m.
