MINUTES                                                                                                 
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT FUND
DECEMBER 20, 2010

A REGULAR MEETING of the Board of Trustees of the City Employees Retirement Fund was held on Monday, December 20, 2010, in the City Hall Auditorium.

Those in attendance included Mayor Ryan J. Bingham, Corporation Counsel Ernestine Yuille Weaver, Treasurer Arthur Mattiello, members of the Board of Trustees of the City Employees Retirement Fund Elinor Carbone, Drake Waldron, Gerald Zordan, Marie Soliani, Gregg Cogswell, Delisse Locher, and Raymond Drew.
Mayor Bingham called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.

MINUTES
On a motion by Councilor Waldron, seconded by Councilor Cogswell, the Board voted unanimously to accept the minutes of the regular meeting held on October 18, 2010.  Councilor Zordan abstained.

MINUTES
On a motion by Councilor Cogswell, seconded by Councilor Waldron, the Board voted unanimously to accept the minutes of the special meeting held jointly with the Board of Trustees of the Police & Firemen’s Pension Fund on November 15, 2010.  

PENSION COMPUTATION:  G. Maguda
On a motion by Councilor Waldron, seconded by Councilor Soliani, the Board voted unanimously to accept the pension computation for Gerri Maguda, Senior Clerk Typist/Court Liaison for the City of Torrington Police Department, having completed 17 years of service with the City of Torrington, effective December 31, 2010.

PENSION COMPUTATION:  J. Cosentino
On a motion by Councilor Waldron, seconded by Councilor Cogswell, the Board voted unanimously to accept the pension computation for Joseph Cosentino, former Manager of Engineering for the City of Torrington, having completed 8 years of service with the City, and leaving employment on May 31, 1999. His pension began November 15, 2010, his 65th birthday.

BUSINESS
On a motion by Councilor Waldron, seconded by Councilor Zordan, the Board voted unanimously to consider business from the Board of Trustees.  No business was presented.

ADJOURNMENT
On a motion by Councilor Waldron, seconded by Councilor Cogswell, the Board voted unanimously to adjourn at 6:33 p.m.
