BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY EMPLOYEES’ RETIREMENT FUND
JANUARY 20, 2009
A REGULAR MEETING of the Board of Trustees of the City Employees’ Retirement Fund was held on Tuesday, January 20, 2009, in the Council Chambers.
Present were Mayor Ryan J. Bingham, members of the Board of Trustees of the City Employees’ Retirement Fund Rick E. Dalla Valle, Thomas Jerram, Marie P. Soliani, and Drake Waldron, Richard J. Friday, Joseph Manes, Delisse Locher, Gail Gillette and David Prahm.
Michael Colangelo, Elinor Carbone, John Schnyer, Nancy Michna, Raymond Drew and Mark Kugler were absent.
Mayor Bingham called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
MINUTES #012
On a motion by Councilor Waldron, seconded by Councilor Dalla Valle, the board voted unanimously to accept the minutes of the regular meeting held January 5 2009.
RETIREMENT: PAUL SKARUPA #17
On a motion by Councilor Dalla Valle, seconded by Councilor Waldron, the board voted unanimously to accept the letter of retirement from Paul Skarupa, Highway Maintainer, effective January 13, 2009 after having completed 36 years of service with the City of Torrington and 3 years military buy-in time for a total of 39 years.
PENSION COMPUTATION #23
On a motion by Councilor Dalla Valle, seconded by Councilor Waldron, the board voted unanimously to accept the pension computation for Paul Skarupa.
BUS: BD OF TRUSTEES #030
On a motion by Councilor Jerram, seconded by Councilor Dalla Valle, the board voted unanimously to consider business presented by the Board of Trustees of the City Employees’ Retirement Fund. There was none.
ADJOURNMENT #037
On a motion by Councilor Jerram, seconded by Councilor Waldron, the board voted unanimously to adjourn at 6:31 p.m.
