BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT FUND

Board of Trustees of the City Employees' Retirement Fund:  

1.      Vote to accept the minutes of the Regular Meeting held jointly with the Board of Trustees of the Police & Firemen’s Pension Fund on February 1, 2016.

2.      Vote to accept the recommendation of the selection committee comprised of the Mayor, Personnel Director, Comptroller and Deputy Comptroller to award the Actuarial Services contract to Hooker & Holcombe, Inc. of West Hartford, CT, for the next two fiscal years for the contracted amount of $22,000/valuation year and $7,000/non-valuation year, pending City Council approval.

Board of Education
3.      Vote to accept the pension computation effective March 3, 2015, for Ronald Savanella, Custodian for the Board of Education, after 22.02 years of service.

4.      Vote to accept the pension computation effective August 3, 2015, for Brian Sekulski, Custodian for the Board of Education, after 19.08 years of service.

5.      Vote to accept the pension computation effective April 1, 2016, for Mark Kugler, Custodian for the Board of Education, after 27.03 years of service.

6.      Vote to accept the pension computation effective April 1, 2016, for Stephen Dorie, Custodian for the Board of Education, after a total of 20.58 years of service, including 2.92 years of military buy back time.

7.         Vote to accept the pension computation effective July 30, 2016, for John Kelley, Custodian for the Board of Education, after 29.03 years of service.


Public Works
8.      Vote to accept the pension computation effective April 16, 2016, for Thomas Lopardo, Foreman for the Street Department, after 28.05 years of service.

9.      Vote to accept the pension computation effective June 15, 2016 for Mrs. Margaret Kelehan, the widow of Paul J. Kelehan, former Caretaker II for the City of Torrington Parks Department.

10.     Vote to accept the pension computation effective June 11, 2016 for John Schnyer, Mason for the Street Department, after 24.55 years of service.
