REGULAR MEETING OF
THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE POLICE & FIREMEN'S PENSION FUND
OCTOBER 2, 2013
A REGULAR MEETING of the Board of Trustees of the Police & Firemen Pension Fund was held on Wednesday, October 2, 2013, in the City Hall Auditorium.
Those in attendance included Mayor Gerald Zordan, Corporation Counsel Raymond Rigat, members of the Board of Trustees of the Police & Firemen Pension Fund Angelo LaMonica, Darlene Battle, Christopher Cook, Richard Zaharek, Douglas Benedetto and Robert Conforti, along with Police Officer Steven Kraznowski and Firefighter Edward Delisle. Police Officer Oscar Segui and Fire Lt. Michael Soliani were absent.
Mayor Zordan called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
MINUTES
On a motion by Commissioner Benedetto, seconded by Commissioner Zaharek, the Board voted unanimously to accept the minutes of the regular meeting held jointly with the Board of Trustees of the City Employees' Retirement Fund on May 6, 2013.
On a motion by Commissioner Benedetto, seconded by Commissioner Cook, the Board voted unanimously to accept the minutes of the regular meeting held jointly with the Board of Trustees of the City Employees' Retirement Fund on August 7, 2013.
PENSION COMPUTATION: M. Emanuel
On a motion by Commissioner Benedetto, seconded by Commissioner Zaharek, the Board voted unanimously to accept the pension computation effective August 10, 2013, for Michael Emanuel, Lieutenant for the City of Torrington Police Department, after completing 25 years of service.
BUSINESS BY BOARD MEMBERS
On a motion by Commissioner Zaharek, seconded by Commissioner Benedetto, the Board voted unanimously to consider business from the Board of Trustees. No business was presented.
ADJOURNMENT
On a motion by Commissioner Benedetto, seconded by Commissioner LaMonica, the Board voted unanimously to adjourn at 6:36 p.m.
