MINUTES
REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE POLICE AND FIREMEN'S PENSION FUND
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 7, 2012
6:30 P.M.
The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Police and Firemen's Pension Fund was opened by Mayor Ryan Bingham on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall auditorium.
Present were Mayor Ryan Bingham, Commissioner Douglas Benedetto, Commissioner Christopher Cook, Commissioner James Potter, Commissioner Angelo LaMonica, Commissioner Richard Zaharek, Commissioner Darlene Battle.
A motion was made by Commissioner Cook to accept the minutes of the regular meeting held jointly with the Board of Trustees of the City Employees' Retirement Fund on February, 1, 2012; seconded by Commissioner Benedetto There was no discussion; motion carried.
A motion was made by Commissioner Potter to accept the minutes of the regular meeting held February 1, 2012; seconded by Commissioner Cook. There was no discussion; the motion carried.
A motion was made by Commissioner Potter to accept the pension computation for Kevin Hayes, Lieutenant for the City of Torrington Fire Department, effective February 19, 2012, after completing 27 years of service; seconded by Commissioner Cook. There was no discussion; motion carried.
A motion was made by Commissioner Potter to consider business from the Board of Trustees; seconded by Commissioner Benedetto. The motion carried.
Oscar from the Police Department stated that the new representative to the Board from the Fire Department will be Lieutenant Michael Soliani.
Kevin Hayes was thanked for his 27 years of service to the Fire Department.
A motion to adjourn was made by Commissioner Benedetto; seconded by Commissioner Cook. Motion carried, meeting was adjourned.
