REGULAR MEETING
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE POLICE & FIREMEN PENSION FUND
SEPTEMBER 7, 2011
A REGULAR MEETING of the Board of Trustees of the Police & Firemen Pension Fund was held on Wednesday, September 7, 2011, in the City Hall Auditorium.
Those in attendance included Mayor Ryan J. Bingham, Corporation Counsel Ernestine Yuille Weaver, Members of the Board of Trustees of the Police & Firemen Pension Fund Angelo LaMonica, James Potter, Richard Zaharek, Douglas Benedetto, Darlene Battle, Officer Robert Shopey, and Firefighter Edward Delisle. Member Christopher Cook, Treasurer Arthur Mattiello, Fire Lieutenant Kevin Hayes and Police Lieutenant Michael Emanuel were absent.
Mayor Bingham called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
MINUTES
On a motion by Commissioner Benedetto, seconded by Commissioner Zaharek, the Board voted unanimously to accept the minutes of the regular meeting held jointly with the Board of Trustees of the City Employees Retirement Fund on February 7, 2011.

On a motion by Commissioner Potter, seconded by Commissioner Benedetto, the Board voted unanimously to accept the minutes of the regular meeting held February 7, 2011.
MINUTES
On a motion by Commissioner Potter, seconded by Commissioner Benedetto, the Board voted unanimously to accept the minutes of the special meeting held jointly with the Board of Trustees of the City Employees Retirement Fund on March 2, 2011.

On a motion by Commissioner Potter, seconded by Commissioner Benedetto, the Board voted unanimously to accept the minutes of the regular meeting held jointly with the Board of Trustees of the City Employees Retirement Fund on May 2, 2011.
MINUTES
On a motion by Commissioner Benedetto, seconded by Commissioner Potter, the Board voted unanimously to accept the minutes of the minutes of the special meeting held May 4, 2011.
PENSION COMPUTATION: Francis Hines
On a motion by Commissioner Potter, seconded by Commissioner Benedetto, the Board voted unanimously to accept the pension computation for Francis Hine, Deputy Fire Marshall for the City of Torrington Fire Department, effective July 9, 2011, after completing 25 years of service.
Commissioner Benedetto thanked Deputy Fire Marshal Hine for his 25 years of service to the City.
PENSION COMPUTATION: Anthony Bonacassio
On a motion by Commissioner Potter, seconded by Commissioner Benedetto, the Board voted unanimously to accept the pension computation for Anthony Bonacassio, Animal Control Officer for the City of Torrington, effective July 2, 2011, after completing 23.7 years of service.
Commissioner Benedetto thanked Animal Control Officer Anthony Bonacassio for his 23.7 years of service to the City.
BUSINESS: Board of Trustees
On a motion by Commissioner Potter, seconded by Commissioner Benedetto, the Board voted unanimously to consider business presented by the Board of Trustees. No business was presented.
ADJOURNMENT
On a motion by Commissioner Potter, seconded by Commissioner LaMonica, the Boards voted unanimously to adjourn at 6:32 p.m.
