SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE POLICE & FIREMEN’S PENSION FUND
May 4, 2016

A Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Police & Firemen’s Pension Fund was held on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 since there was no quorum of the Board of Trustees of the City Employees Retirement Fund for a Special Joint Meeting.
Those in attendance included Mayor Elinor Carbone and members of the Board of Trustees of the Police & Firemen’s Pension Fund Richard Zaharek, Douglas Benedetto, Robert Conforti, Glenn McLeod, Darlene Battle and Alex Rehnberg.  Members Angelo LaMonica, Oscar Sequi, Edward Delisle, and Stephen Krzanowski were absent.  

Mayor Carbone called the meeting to order at 6:46 p.m.  
 
Minutes
On a motion by Commissioner Benedetto, seconded by Commissioner Battle, the Board voted unanimously to accept the minutes of the minutes of the Regular Meeting held May 6, 2015.  Commissioner McLeod abstained.

On a motion by Commissioner Conforti, seconded by Commissioner Benedetto, the Board voted unanimously to accept the minutes of the Special Meeting held jointly with the Board of Trustees of the City Employees’ Retirement Fund on November 9, 2015.

On a motion by Commissioner Zaharek, seconded by Commissioner Conforti, the Board voted unanimously to accept the minutes of the Special Meeting held jointly with the Board of Trustees of the City Employees’ Retirement Fund on February 1, 2016.  Commissioner McLeod abstained.

Updated Investment Policy Statement
On a motion by Commissioner Benedetto, seconded by Commissioner Battle, the Board voted unanimously to accept the updated Investment Policy Statement dated October 2015.

Adjournment
On a motion by Commissioner Benedetto, seconded by Commissioner McLeod, the meeting was adjourned at 6:48 p.m.
