REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE POLICE AND FIREMEN’S PENSION FUND
March 4, 2015
A REGULAR MEETING of the Board of Trustees of the Police & Firemen Pension Fund was held on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 in the City Hall Auditorium.
Those in attendance included Mayor Elinor Carbone and Members of the Police & Firemen’s Pension Fund Douglas Benedetto, Robert Conforti, Glenn McLeod, Richard Zaharek, Darlene Battle, Lt. Edward Delisle, Det. Stephen Krzanowski and Officer Oscar Segui. Members Angelo LaMonica and Firefighter Alex Rehnberg were absent.
Mayor Carbone called the meeting to order at 6:33 p.m. beginning with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Minutes
On a motion by Commissioner Conforti, seconded by Commissioner Benedetto, the Board voted unanimously to accept the minutes of the special meeting held jointly with the Board of Trustees of the City Employees’ Retirement Fund on February 17, 2015.
Entry Age Normal Funding Method
On a motion by Commissioner Benedetto, seconded by Commissioner Conforti, the Board voted unanimously to authorize the City to implement the Entry Age Normal Funding Method for the Police and Firemen’s Pension Fund.
IAFF Local 1567
On a motion by Commissioner Benedetto, seconded by Commissioner Battle, the Board of Trustees of the
Police & Firemen’s Pension Fund/IAFF Local 1567 voted unanimously to accept the pension computation for Patric Berardinelli, Sergeant for the Torrington Police Department, effective February 7, 2015, after completing 25.46 years of service.

On a motion by Commissioner Benedetto, seconded by Commissioner McLeod, the meeting was adjourned at
6:36 p.m.
