COUNCIL CHAMBERS
1. Vote to approve the following:
minutes of meeting held August 13, 2008
minutes of meeting held January 26, 2009
2. Vote to accept the letter of retirement from Officer John A. Barbieri, effective as of January 6, 2009, after having completed 25 years, 3 months of employment with the City of Torringtons Police Department and 1 year, 9 months of military buy-in time for a total of 27 years.
3. Vote to accept the pension computation for Officer John A. Barbieri.
4. Vote to accept the letter of retirement from Sergeant Paul E. Zeller, effective as of January 11, 2009, after having completed 26 years, 11 months of employment with the City of Torringtons Police Department and 1 month of military buy-in time for a total of 27 years.
5. Vote to accept the pension computation for Sergeant Paul E. Zeller.
6. Vote to Initiate a 5% allocation to the Vanguard Intermediate Term Investment Grade Fund from Vanguard Total Bond Market Index Fund as recommended by Anthony Tranghese from FIA.
7. Vote to re-balance a 2% portion of the current fixed income overweight by reducing fixed income (Vanguard Total Bond Market Index Fund) and increasing equity (Vanguard 500 Index) as recommended by Anthony Tranghese from FIA.
8. Vote to accept the Treasurers Report for the year ending June 30, 2008.
9. Vote to consider business from Board of Trustees.
