Parent Engagement Event Ideas for FY2015: 1.Toileting, 2. Transition from B-3 to K special ed, 3. Children’s Behavior were discussed as potential topics (Technology, guns/violence and sensory were also mentioned)
CHILD FIRST – Dr. Parilla is new ED. The following was discussed: Circle of Security, Developing Better Infant Maternal Connections: Maternal Depression Supports Needed, Serves Torrington & Winsted, can take from other towns if there isn’t a waiting list, serves 0-6 can serve up to 6th bday (ideal ages 0-2), cannot serve with ICAPS at the same time, 2nd Clinician identified.
Litchfield County Pediatric Regional Resource Center Coordinating Care – Title 5 A: Extended Service – help with co-pays & diapers; B Respite Fund - $500 to do something different that couldn’t normally afford to do & babysitting for parents to go on a date. Need for ABA supports was expressed – ins will pay depending where ins. is from.
TECC All TECC Meeting in Oct & Exploration of Southeast School to provide space

Brooker Memorial – Hard to Engage Families project on hold, Dec. Child Care will move to a temporary place in new building in June Re-open with child care in permanent place, Education Connection Pediatric OT, IT and Speech project underway.
