Agenda:
- Motion to open the meeting.
- Discussion led by Mayor Bingham of City Council approval/authorization to convene the Blue Ribbon Commission, (BRC), to include:
- Length of term of commission members.
- Authority to appoint/remove commissioners
- Process of submission of Commission recommendations
- Process of approval/denial of BRC recommendations
- Discussion of the program in place to solicit recommendations from City employees and Torrington residents for submission of suggestions to the BRC relating to City operating cost savings. – Mr. Nocera
- Discussion of procedures to be followed by BRC members relating to interviewing City employees during departmental studies, reviews, etc. – Mr. Clark
- Distribution of Torrington’s Current Municipal Budget – Mr. Nocera
- Move to enter Executive Session for discussion of personnel related information.
- Move to exit Executive Session and invite the public back to the meeting.
- Other Business
- Motion to adjourn.
