SPECIAL JOINT MEETING BOARD OF FINANCE AND CITY COUNCIL & WPC AUTHORITY
September 15, 2015
A SPECIAL JOINT MEETING of the Board of Finance and the City Council & WPC Authority was held in the City Hall Auditorium on Tuesday, September 15, 2015. There was no quorum present for the City Council & WPC Authority.
Present were Mayor Elinor Carbone, Corporation Counsel Raymond Rigat, City Councilors Gregg Cogswell and Anne Ruwet, and Board of Finance members Bill Lamoin, Frank Rubino, Thomas Scoville, Mark Bushka and Laurene Pesce. Joshua Ferreira arrived at 5:30 p.m. Comptroller Alice Proulx was also present.
Mayor Carbone called the meeting to order at 5:11 p.m.
LEGISLATIVE UPDATE
Representatives Jay Case, Michelle Cook and Roberta Willis and Senator Witkos reported on the latest news from the State Capital including motor vehicle taxes, revenue losses to the City, special education needs and costs, the UConn Torrington campus, and the expansion of Oliver Wolcott Technical School.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned at 6:33 p.m.
