1. Vote to accept the minutes of the Special Meeting held jointly with the Board of Finance on August 3, 2015.

Refurbish Street Dept. Hole Patcher #27
5. Vote to accept the recommendation of the Vehicle Replacement Advisory Board and authorize the refurbishment of Unit #27 for an amount not to exceed $24,260, by Tru-Hitch, Inc. of Barkhamsted, CT, which includes a $3,000 cushion for potential unforeseen expenses. This is pending Board of Finance approval on August 18, 2015.
Refurbish (2) Dump Trucks for Street Dept.
6. Vote to accept the recommendation of the Vehicle Replacement Advisory Board and authorize the refurbishment of Unit #24, and one other at the Fleet Manager’s discretion, for an amount not to exceed $27,000, by Tru-Hitch, Inc. of Barkhamsted, CT, which includes a $3,000 cushion per unit for potential unforeseen expenses. This is pending Board of Finance approval on August 18, 2015.
Elected Officials Salary Increase
7. Under Article XIX of the CT Constitution, vote to authorize a salary increase for the positions of Mayor, effective 12/7/2015; City Clerk, effective 1/4/2016; and Treasurer, effective 12/7/2015.
THS Turf Committee
8. Vote to accept the Turf Committee’s recommendation and authorize the payment of $5557.90 to Gale Assocs. for Invoice #1410279 for architectural services at the THS Track & Field Renovations 9/18/14 to 11/1/14.
Elderly Nutrition Meal Provider
9. Vote to accept the Elderly Services Director’s recommendation to award the Elderly Nutrition Meal Provider contract extension for the period of October 1, 2015 to September 30, 2016 to Lindley Food Services of New Haven, CT, Congregate meal at $5.40 each & Home Delivered 2-Pack meal at $6.84 each. The estimate total value based on past service levels is a Congregate Meals price of $177,498 and Home Delivered Meals price of $684,205.
