  • 6:30 PM PUBLIC HEARING:   To solicit citizen input and discuss the Fiscal Year 2011 Community Development Block Grant Multi-Jurisdictional Program Application for a Multi-Jurisdictional Senior Center Renovations Project. The City’s Program Income Reuse Plan and current CDBG projects will also be discussed.
  • Vote to adopt a resolution and authorize the Mayor to apply to the State of CT for and amount not to exceed $750,000 to undertake and carryout a Small Cities Community Development Program and to execute an Assistance Agreement for a Multi-Jurisdictional Senior Center Renovations Project.



  • IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING:  PUBLIC HEARING: To solicit citizen input regarding the sewer use charge for the year beginning July 1, 2011 and ending June 30, 2012 as follows:
            For Residential Users:  Not Less than $194.00, nor more than $200.00 per dwelling unit
            For All Other Users:  Not Less than $194.00, nor more than $200.00 per 65,000 gallons of volume of flow.           
           
  • Vote by the Board of Councilmen acting as the Water Pollution Control Authority to set the sewer use charge for the year beginning July 1, 2011 and ending June 30, 2012 as follows:
                        For Residential Users     $194.00 per dwelling unit
                        For All Other Users         $194.00 per 65,000 gallons of volume of flow
  • Vote by the Board of Councilmen acting as the Water Pollution Control Authority to approve WPCA Budget for year beginning July 1, 2011 and ending June 30, 2012.
  • Vote by the Board of Councilmen acting as the Water Pollution Control Authority to approve WPCA Five-Year Capital Improvement Budget/Program for year beginning July 1, 2011 and ending June 30, 2016.
  • Vote by the Board of Councilmen acting as the Water Pollution Control Authority to approve WPCA Miscellaneous Fee Schedule for year beginning July 1, 2011 and ending June 30, 2012.
