  • Vote to open the meeting to the public.
  • Vote to adopt Resolution #143-17-12 authorizing the Mayor to apply for, and administer, a 2017 Responsible Growth and Transit-Oriented Development Grant for an East Main Street Corridor Study and Sidewalk Construction project.  
  • Vote to adopt Resolution #143-17-13 authorizing the Mayor as authorized representative of the Employer to execute and deliver to the Comptroller as Administrator one or more counterparts of the Cafeteria Plan effective July 1, 2017.
  • Vote to accept the recommendation of the Services for the Elderly Commission, waive the bid process, and approve the grant-funded purchase of a Hot Shot II Chevy Colorado 6 Series 70/30 food transport unit from sole provider Delivery Concepts East of Hampstead, NC, at a price not to exceed $46,000.
7.   Vote to accept the recommendation of the Purchasing Agent and authorize the Mayor to award the contract for FY17/18 Cleaning Services for City Facilities to Jani-King of Hartford, CT in the amount of $29,880.

8.  Vote to accept a committee’s recommendation and authorize the Mayor to award, negotiate, administer and execute the grant-funded contract for the Routing Study of the Still River Sue Grossman Greenway to BSC Group-Connecticut, Inc. of Glastonbury, CT for $150,000.

9.  Vote to accept Corporation Counsel’s recommendation and authorize the Mayor, pursuant to CGS §12-179, to release the liens described in Atty. LaMere’s Memo dated 6/19/17.

10. Vote to accept the recommendation of the Tax Collector and authorize the five tax refunds indicated on the list dated June 19, 2017.

11. Herein acting as the Water Pollution Control Authority, vote to accept the recommendation of the Tax Collector and authorize the three sewer usage fee refunds indicated on the list dated June 19, 2017.
