Schedule Public Hearing
- Vote to schedule a public hearing on Monday, June 20, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. to review and discuss proposals for participation in the 2016 Neighborhood Assistance Act.
- Vote to authorize the Mayor to award a contract to the low bidder, Waters Construction Co., Inc. of Bridgeport, CT for Newfield Road Pavement Preservation, with 80% Federal and 20% Local funding of the $591,140 project, and to authorize the Mayor act on the behalf of the City regarding the execution of the contract and its administration including approval of change orders and pay applications.
- Vote to authorize the Mayor to award a contract to the low bidder, Supreme Industries of Harwinton, CT for the Naugatuck River Greenway Trail Access Drive Phase One in the amount of $155,880, being Torrington’s share of the $180,000 project, and to authorize the Mayor act on the behalf of the City regarding the execution of the contract and its administration including approval of change orders and pay applications.
- Vote to authorize the Mayor to award a contract to CME Assocs. of Woodstock, CT for Environmental Engineering and Re-Use Planning Services – 100 Franklin Drive.
- Vote to accept the Purchasing Agent’s recommendation and authorize the Mayor to extend the current HVAC services contract with Tradesmen of New England, LLC of Bloomfield, CT, for FY16/17 with the same terms, conditions, and $86.00 per hour rate.
Small Cities
- Vote to accept the recommendation of the Small Cities Committee regarding Project #143-420, #143-456, and #143-458.
