Mayor Carbone called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. beginning with the Pledge of Allegiance.

POLICE BUDGET
Mayor Carbone reported that the Police Department budget was left at $8,388,497.08 and Chief Maniago was asked to bring it down to a 3% increase.

Chief Maniago said he cut $72,189 from regular wages and holiday pay (six-month delay in hiring), capital reserve, electric, education incentive, accident investigation team, and communications.  He said the new budget request is $8,316,309, a 3% increase over last year's budget.
