BOARD OF PUBLIC SAFETY
DECEMBER 29, 2008
A SPECIAL MEETING of the Board of Public Safety was held on Wednesday, December 29, 2008, in the Council Chambers.
Those in attendance included Mayor Ryan J. Bingham, members of the Board of Public Safety Gerald A. Zordan, Richard L. Zaharek, Douglas J. Benedetto, James E. Potter, Christopher H. Cook, and Robert C. Zordan, Police Chief Robert Milano, and Deputy Police Chief Michael Maniago.
Mayor Bingham called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
EXECUTIVE SESSION: PERSONNEL #030
On a motion by Commissioner Potter, seconded by Commissioner Benedetto, the board voted unanimously to go into Executive Session under Police Department Personnel. Chief Milano and Deputy Chief Maniago were invited to attend.
OPEN SESSION #045
On a motion by Commissioner Potter, seconded by Commissioner Benedetto, the board reconvened into Open Session at 6:07 p.m.
PROMOTION: GERALD PETERS #050
On a motion by Commissioner Zaharek, seconded by Commissioner Robert Zordan, the board voted unanimously to promote Patrolman Gerald Peters to the rank of Sergeant, effective January 4th, 2009.
ADJOURNMENT #075
On a motion by Commissioner Gerald Zordan, seconded by Commissioner Zaharek, the board voted unanimously to adjourn at 6:10 p.m.
