SPECIAL MEETING OF THE
BOARD OF PUBLIC SAFETY
NOVEMBER 27, 2006
A SPECIAL MEETING of the Board of Public Safety, adjourned from November 21, 2006, was held on Monday, November 27, 2006, in the Council Chambers.
Those in attendance included Mayor Ryan J. Bingham, members of the Board of Public Safety Christopher H. Cook, Douglas J. Benedetto, James E. Potter, Michael Colangelo, and Robert C. Zordan, Corporation Counsel Ernestine Yuille Weaver, Police Chief Robert Milano, and Deputy Police Chief Michael Maniago. Absent were Commissioner Richard L. Zaharek and Corporation Counsel Ernestine Yuille Weaver.
Mayor Bingham called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
On a motion by Commissioner Potter, seconded by Commissioner Cook, the Board voted unanimously to go into executive session under Police Personnel. Police Chief Robert Milano, and Deputy Police Chief Michael Maniago were invited into executive session.
OPEN SESSION
On a motion by Commissioner Potter, seconded by Commissioner Colangelo, the Board voted unanimously to reconvene into open session
NEW HIRING STANDARDS
On a motion by Commissioner Cook, seconded by Commissioner Benedetto, the Board voted unanimously to accept the Police Department’s new hiring standards.
ADJOURNMENT
On a motion by Commissioner Potter, seconded by Commissioner Colangelo, the Board voted unanimously to adjourn.
