BOARD OF PUBLIC SAFETY
February 3, 2016
A SPECIAL TELEPHONIC MEETING of the Board of Public Safety was held in the Mayor’s Office on Wednesday, February 3, 2016.
Those in attendance included Mayor Elinor Carbone, Commissioner Robert Conforti and Fire Chief Gary Brunoli. Commissioners Darlene Battle, Angelo LaMonica and Glenn McLeod participated by telephone, along with Fleet Manager Emil Castro. Commissioners Richard Zaharek and Douglas Benedetto were absent.
Mayor Carbone called the meeting to order at 4:01 p.m.
PURCHASE VEHICLE: Fire Dept.
On a motion by Commissioner Conforti, seconded by Commissioner McLeod, the Board voted unanimously to accept the recommendation of the Purchasing Agent, Fleet Manager and Fire Chief to purchase two (2) 2016 Ford Interceptors for the Fire Department at a price of $26,389 from Shaker, Inc. of Watertown, CT, having been approved by the City Council on February 1, 2016.
ADJOURNMENT
On a motion by Commissioner Conforti, seconded by Commissioner McLeod, the Board voted unanimously to adjourn at 4:03 p.m.
