1.      Presentation:  Mr. Ray Clark, DARE and PAL Programs Volunteer.

2.      Vote to approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting held August 3, 2011.

3.      Vote to open the meeting to the public.

4.      Vote to accept Probationary Officer Matthew Gonska as a regular member of the Torrington Police Department effective 8/16/2011 after successfully completing his probationary period.

5.      Vote to accept the recommendation of the Purchasing Agent and the Fire Dept. Training Officer to award the purchase of the Class A Live Fire Burn Trailer to American Fire Training Systems, Inc., of Lockport, IL in the amount of $167,500.00.

6.      Vote to accept Chief Michael Maniago’s Report for July 2011.   

7.      Vote to accept Officer Robert Shopey’s Reports for July 2011.  

8.      Vote to accept Officer Robert Shopey's recommendation that the south edge of Central Avenue from Apple Street to High Street be posted as "No Parking".

9.      Vote to accept Officer Robert Shopey's recommendation that west edge of Brightwood Avenue from East Pearl Street northerly for a distance of 398' be posted as "No Parking".

10.     Vote to accept Fire Chief John Field’s Report dated August 30, 2011.

11.     Vote to accept Deputy Chief Gary Brunoli's Report dated August 30, 2011.

12.     Vote to accept Fire Marshal Tim Tharau's Report for July 2011.

13.     Vote to accept Training Officer Larry Hepburn’s Report dated August 30, 2011.

14.     Vote to accept the Emergency Management Director’s Report for July 2011.

15.     Vote to accept the EMS Provider Activity Report for July 2011.

16.     Vote to consider business by Department Heads.

17.     Vote to consider business by Volunteer Fire Departments.

18.     Vote to consider business by Mayor and members of the Board of Public Safety.

19.     Vote to enter Executive Session under Fire Dept. Personnel.

20.     Vote to enter Open Session.

21.     Vote to fill the position of Deputy Fire Marshal through a promotion.
