BOARD OF PUBLIC SAFETY
FEBRUARY 4, 2009
A SPECIAL MEETING of the Board of Public Safety was held on Wednesday, February 4, 2009, in the Council Chambers.
Those in attendance included Mayor Ryan J. Bingham, members of the Board of James Potter, Gerald Zordan, Douglas Benedetto, and Christopher Cook, and Corporation Counsel Ernestine Yuille Weaver, Police Chief Robert Milano, and Deputy Police Chief Michael Maniago. Commissioner Robert Zordan and Richard Zaharek were absent.
Mayor Bingham called the meeting to order at 6:07 p.m.
EXEC. SESSION: PERSONNEL, POLICE DEPT. #17
On a motion by Commissioner Gerald Zordan, seconded by Commissioner Benedetto, the board voted unanimously to enter executive session under Personnel: Police Department.
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC #57
On a motion by Commissioner Potter, seconded by Commissioner Benedetto, the board voted unanimously to open the meeting to the public.
HIRE: J.McIntyre, J.Hoyt, J.Maiga #132
On a motion by Commissioner Cook, seconded by Commissioner Gerald Zordan, the board voted unanimously to hire Jason McIntyre, Jeffrey Hoyt, and John Maiga as Probationary Patrolmen effective February 9, 2009
ADJOURN #93
A motion to adjourn at 6:30 p.m. was made by Commissioner Benedetto, seconded by Commissioner G. Zordan.
