1. Vote to accept the minutes of the regular meeting held December 10, 2008.
2. Vote to open the meeting to the public.
3. Vote to promote Officers Michael Giordano and Nicole Bascetta from Probationary Patrolmen to Patrolmen effective 1/14/09 and to accept them as regular members of the Torrington Police Department.
4. Vote to accept Chief Field’s Report for December 2008.
5. Vote to accept Deputy Chief Giampaolo’s Report for December 2008.
6. Vote to accept the Fire Marshal’s Report for December 2008.
7. Vote to accept the Training Officer’s Report for December 2008.
8. Vote to accept the Incident Report for December 2008.
9. Discuss/vote to authorize “up to” $8,000.00 from Contingency to repair the fire damage that occurred at the Northend Station, and refer the matter to the City Council and the Board of Finance.
10. Vote to accept Chief Milano’s Report for December 2008.
11. Vote to accept Officer Shopey’s Monthly Communication Report for the month of December, 08.
12. Vote to accept the Council’s request to waive the bid process and purchase the Mobile Report Writing System from Accucom Consulting, Inc., which has been developed to work specifically with the Records Management System, from Hunt Computer Design LLC for the purchase price of $32,275.00. (Approved by City Council on 12/15/2008.)
13. Vote to accept the Council’s request to accept the quotation from Northwest Hills Dealership to purchase three vehicles for a total of $41,100.00. (Approved by City Council on 12/15/2008.)
14. Vote to accept the EMS Provider Activity Report from Campion for December 2008.
15. Vote to accept the Emergency Management Coordinator’s Report for December 2008.
16. Vote to consider business by Department Heads.
17. Vote to consider business by Volunteer Fire Departments.
18. Vote to consider business by Mayor and members of the Board of Public Safety.
19. Vote to go into executive session under Personnel: Fire Department.
