In partnership with Northwest Connecticut’s Chamber of Commerce, the City of Torrington is sponsoring a free workshop to all merchants interested in conducting business with the City.
Purchasing Agent Charlene Antonelli will explain the City’s bidding and procurement process. Merchants will also learn how to receive automatic electronic notice of open City and State bids. In addition, a proposed ordinance to give local vendor preference will be discussed.
