The Torrington Public Works Department would like to make drivers aware that a section of East Main Street (US 202) between the intersections of Willow Street and Maude Street will be reduced to one lane of traffic for a two day period during the upcoming week for sewer construction work. Pending dry weather conditions work will begin on Monday April 14, 2003. Traffic backups are expected and drivers are encouraged to avoid this area. Drivers are asked to use alternate routes if possible. The public's cooperation is very much appreciated.
