Call to Order at 9:04 AM

Review of Minutes –The July 11, 2017 minutes were reviewed and unanimously approved
Outreach Worker report - Cynthia’s report is attached.
Consortium Report – Jean reported they are working on the roles and responsibilities for the outreach worker
HVES Report – No activity to report on this month
Treasurers Report The attached report was unanimously accepted.
Upcoming Events
Feisty Fall Feast – Friday Sept. 22- All systems are go.
Entertainment – Roger Tincknell will be performing his Americana Songs for all Ages at the feast
Mail Stuffing will be Aug 22, 2017 @ 9 AM. We will also assemble the sandwich board signs then
Old Business
Yoga – Update – Attendance has been the best ever. Report is attached. Dave was authorized to continue the program into September if there is enough interest
Transportation – 1 ride this month
Birthday Cards – 12 cards mailed this month.
Health Fair – Saturday Sept. 30; from 10 to 1; Flu shots, nutrition counselling, Blood Pressure screening; coffee and doughnuts
Turning 60 Package – Pat has finally started putting this together. Hopes to have for the next meeting.
New Business
State Meeting in Pittsfield – Dave reported on the meeting. Otis is interested in a joint meeting with us. Newspaper article describing the meeting is attached.
Planning for Medicare Seminar – We will not be doing this seminar this year.
Purchasing of Magnets – Ruth is organizing the purchase of the magnets. Another $100 was authorized.
Christmas Potluck – Ruth will talk with other departments about doing this.
Smoke Alarms – Will be installed by the FD and Red Cross Sept 23. Info will be in the mailing and on news and notices. Only for houses built prior to 1975.
Computer – In view of the cost, Cynthia decided she can do without one.
