Call to Order at 9:10 AM
Attendance: Jean Armitage, Ruth Buchanan, Jennifer Clark, Mira Munson, Pat Storey, Dave Spidal, Cynthia Ashley (PT); Regrets - Ann Skibski
Review of Minutes –May 2, 2017 Minutes were approved unanimously
Outreach Worker report- Cynthia reported that the has finished setting up the files; designed a release of confidential information for use when assisting residents; Jean was going to do more research on the confidentiality issues; Cynthia reported that to date she has made 27 calls and had 6 appointments; she will continue working 10 hours per week.
Consortium Report – Jean reported that Phil Burns has turned in his resignation; he will be going back to school to study law.
HVES Report – No new news
Treasurers Report – the attached report was unanimously accepted.
Upcoming Events
Yoga Summer 2017Thursday Yoga starts June 22; Monday Yoga starts July 10 – both at 9 AM; $5 donation requested
Open Games Day Summer 2017 – There were no participants at the sessions.
Feisty Fall Feast – Friday Sept. 22 – No discussion
Old Business
Post Mortem on Black Fly Dinner – Sal did a great job but we missed Pete and Tara. Pots and Pan cleanup was a real challenge. 42 people attended. The kids need more supervision.
Souper Thursdays – As per the attached report attendance has ranged from 0 to 14. Will reevaluate at the next meeting.
Transportation – No rides this month
Birthday Cards – 19 sent
Turning 60 Package – Pat has delayed this again
Posting of Minutes and Agenda’s on town web site was discussed and we will try and do this.
New Business
Election of Officers; In a shocking move Jean announced she is not seeking reappointment to the COA but she will continue her activates with the consortium and the transportation program. The unanimously elected officers for 2017-2018 are Ruth Buchanan – President; Mira Munson – Vice Chair; Dave Spidal – Treasurer; Pat Storey - Clerk
