MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING – April 30, 2018 5:00 PM
Selectmen Present: Eric R. Munson, Jr., Steven DellaGiustina and Patrick Barrett

A lengthy discussion was had in regards to the condition of Blandford Road.
Signed an agreement to purchase and install a generator from State Line Oil. Generator will be installed at the Tolland Town Hall.
Ed informed the board that a “top coat” will be placed on Burt Hill Road and a “skim coat” be placed on the end of Colebrook River Road.
Ed requested Department of Public Works Superintendent’s salary be considered for a greater increase then the proposed 2%. He conducted a surrounding town survey and came in on the bottom. After discussion Ed’s proposed salary will increase 6% ($58,229). Patrick moved to authorize, seconded by Steve. The motion carried unanimously.
Margaret requested a 10% increase in the portion the town pays for Health Insurance. The Board agreed to an increase of 5% for a total coverage of 65%. Patrick moved to authorize, seconded by Steve. The motion carried unanimously
