MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING – April 9, 2018 5:00 PM
Selectmen Present: Eric R. Munson, Jr., Steven DellaGiustina and Patrick Barrett
Also Present: Michael Sullivan and Robert Silsby
Board of Selectmen met with Green Earth Energy to further discuss solar panels to be installed on the PSC roof. Green Earth is offering a 63KW system. Based on a 500KW max system funds available in the amount of $300,000. Monies calculated for the 63KW system would be $37,920. The panels would remain for a term of 20 years, be maintained and serviced by Green Earth. It had been stated that in most systems the “inverter” is the part to fail. Green Earth would replace the “inverters” on the 20th year and sell the system to the 501C3 for $1.00. The Board of Selectmen recommended that Mike look into what other companies have to offer.
Reviewed fiscal 2019 budget for the budget hearing.
