MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING – October 16, 2017 5:00 PM

Pat Storey spoke about the Community Compact Grant. In applying for the grant Tolland would receive assistants in developing and documenting a multi-year capital plan and the opportunity to apply for the Community Compact IT Grant Program. Pat felt that a capital plan would help in maintaining Tolland’s infrastructure. Steve felt that we had already been doing that. It had been stated that Tolland could be limited on financial resources to fund a capital plan. What would happen if Tolland was unable to following through with the plan? Pat will get the information and report back to the Selectboard on the 30th.
The Board of Selectmen appointed Valerie Nickerson as the Transfer Station Administrator.
Board of Selectmen appointed Jessica Kelmelis, Gina Kaminski, Andrea De Santo and Caroyln Dennis to serve on the Cultural Council board.
Ed received quotes for generator service – Cummings $890/year and Kinsley $780/year. The board will contract with Kinsley.
