MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING – March 6, 2017 5:00 PM

Board of Selectmen appointed Gina Kaminski as the Clerk to the Town Clerks Office
Eric expressed concerns with the response time of medical calls. At times the ambulance is taking anywhere from 17 to 44 minutes due to a shortage in EMT staffing.
Eric suggested that the surrounding towns meet to discuss further.
Kevin and Danny discussed the broadband RFP process. The RFP procurement procedure is available on Tolland’s website.
Jean and David presented a level funded Council on Aging budget of $2,500.
Eric presented the Fire Departments budget of $26,285.66 which is $87.34 less than FY17. The Fire Department is also presented the tax payers with a request to purchase a new fire truck that purchase will be approximately $500,000.
