MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING – December 22, 2014 5:00 PM
Selectmen Present: Eric R. Munson, Jr., Steven DellaGiustina and Thomas Paine
Also Present: Mel Jiganti, Vice President SunpinSolar

Minutes of the previous meeting were read and accepted.
Mel Jiganti, Vice President of Sunpin Solar, met with the board to discuss the proposed tax agreement. Two options came before the Selectboard;
- Tolland would receive 5% of the solar project annual gross electricity sales and a lump sum of $25,000 to $35,000 in real property taxes for the property on which the array is located.
- Tolland would receive 5% of the solar project annual gross electricity sales and an annual flat rate of $5,000.00 in real property taxes for the Property on which the array is located.
Steven made motion to decline the offer of Tolland receiving a lump sum in real property taxes and agree to Tolland receiving 5% of the solar project annual gross electricity sales and an annual flat rate of $5,000.00 in real property taxes for the Property on which the array is located. Eric seconded, and Tom agreed. (agreement attached)
Meeting adjorned to the Special Town Meeting.
7:30PM The Board of Selectmen signed the tax agreement between the Town of Tolland and SunpinSolar.
